WGPME [Phyto/Microbial]plankton Status Report 2012The completely edited and 100% assembled report (i.e., ALL text and ALL figures finalized and reviewed) must be forwarded to ICES by May 1st. Since our WGPME meeting is end-of-March, this leaves the editors only April to do this work. At the March meeting we will be discussing multi-site trends based on region (i.e. "The Baltic", "The Mediterannean", "The Iberian Peninsula") and trans-Atlantic analyses. The editors wish to have the text write-up for these regional summaries finished at the meeting. To do this, we need all of the individual sites (data and summary) completed BEFORE the meeting. As a site author (data contributor), you have the following responsibilties:
Note the Item #2 will be based on graphics generated from your data. The sooner you get your data in to Todd the sooner these individual site results can be generated. Note that Item #3 will be based on you data (and those of others). Again, the sooner you get your data in to Todd, the sooner these multi-site results can be generated.
If you are concerned you can not make these deadlines, please contact Todd ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ). While we have hundreds of sites and can not make exceptions for everyone, we will do our best to help you get your site and data into this year's report.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you have already submitted your data to Todd, and are waiting for him to return your figures and results, you can still start writing parts of your site summary(s). The general introduction and hydrographic overview should be independent of these results, for example.
